I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
